Chess Piece ( Concentration)

This piece, the main focus was technical skills such as shading, and the composition of the piece. For instance, the application of the rule of thirds. The creative part of the assignment would be that back round, as the artist is free the choose; it is like a bird free of its cage, and is able to roam endlessly. The chess piece, has to be a realistic traditional style of art, where the artist is entrapped around the chess piece. In my opinion there are only two types of artist, photographic (realism) artist, and abstract artist. The two combined will create this composition; surrealism.

The back round is abstract, as the idea is that everything is attracted to the Chess piece and revolving around it. To emphasize the idea, the chess piece and the area around it, is one of the darker tones. The bishop itself is almost as tall as the page, compared to the other matter around it; giving the bishop contrast. The smaller matter is then in orbit of the bishop, like the many moons of Jupiter. This would give the illusion of rhythm and movement as well as make the bishop focal point

Finally, the high intensity eye is the only thing as dark as the bishop, and its only competitor in their world. However, their can only be one sun in the world, and the focal point might just switch to the eye for just a second. This may even cause a pattern from bishop to eye. The bishop is a very sharp piece in the game of chess.

It is very important to keep an eye out for the opponents bishop. In the bishop opening, or italian game, the bishop points straight away, at the only piece guarded by the king. Even through it conducts no threat to the king at the moment, but may cause complications in the future. In the sicilian dragon variation, the bishop is referred to the fire out of a dragons breath. Fianchettoed, the bishop slices the board in two, and already an indication of a queen side sortie.  So it is vital to keep an eye on all of the opponents chess pieces as every chessmen is born to due trickery. However the bishop in some cases is more valuable than chivalry knight.
